Hi y’all! I’m Gopi, and I’m the writer here at Genuinely Gopi. I began blogging under the name Squats & Swatches back in 2016 after finishing grad school in Texas, as a creative outlet for myself. I enjoyed working out and trying new beauty products, and that’s how S&S came about.

​Over the years, my interests evolved, and as much as I still enjoy working out and trying out new beauty products, I felt that I wasn’t being ‘genuine’ in what I was sharing with my followers. So that’s how Genuinely Gopi was born – I hope to be fully transparent and genuine with you all across my platforms. I want to share things I truly believe in and have tried myself. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in all the free products in the blogging world, but I hope that seeing my new blog name on a daily basis will be a gentle reminder of why I’m really here.

​​I currently live in Philadelphia, PA with my amazing husband Ronak, and our adorable puppy, Austin. I am excited for y’all to continue on this journey with me!
